Sometimes not getting your colorful fruits & veggies in is just a matter of not really knowing what to cook, or how to cook stuff. Or you are just cooking for one, or you are tired and don’t feel like doing the whole “elaborate meal” thing (that’s how you end up eating a bowl of cereal for dinner, correct?).
All of us want to be as healthy as possible. We want to feel clear-headed, move well, and make positive choices. Not all of us realize that it’s nearly impossible without good sleep. And many of us struggle with sleep issues.
There is a lot of talk about how different our modern life is from the way that it used to be, and for good reason. It’s easy to roll your eyes about mention of ancestral diets and cavemen foraging (I mean, they didn’t live very long, right?). But there are some incredibly important takeaways from reflecting on these differences, and movement (or lack of) is a key change.

Lands End and the Coastal Trail was the perfect place to be this weekend, as the Bay Area got its first real heat wave for the year. One hundred degree temps in Walnut Creek? No, thanks.
